The issue has been solved.
The problem was that BEMCLI was not working.
After much trials and errors, I have received the working solution from Symantec_Corp.
We had .NET framework 1, 2, 3, and 4 installed.
After a hint, I installed .NET 3.5, after which we still had issues.
A repair of Backup Exec 2012 dit also not give a working solution.
We uninstalled .NET 3.5 and reinstalled 3.5 SP1 (!!) after which the Powershell BEMCLI did not give any errors at
1. Run the powershell command: Set-ExecutionPolicy unrestricted
2. Then try running the “import-module bemcli” and “Get-BEBackupExecServer –Local”
Thank you Ramesh for your help!
