I'm just dropping this out here in case anyone runs into it. We recently had 4 XP workstations across 2 different clients start getting a popup message for Assertion Failed referencing GetVolumeInformation Failed. After troubleshooting this down we found that the messages were occurring at the time that Power Policies were being applied. If we initiated a Verify on the KDPM install, it would cause the popup again. We tried uninstalling and reinstalling and the popup came back during the install. We have opened ticket CS158274, if anyone from Kaseya happens across this. As a temporary fix, we have uninstalled KDPM from the affected systems.
