We are interested in piloting the Symantec end point software for our client base. We currently use KAV but disappointed in its slow release schedule. I have gone through all the paper work with Symantec and now licensed to start deploying and have gone as far as installing the Symantec module on our Kaseya 6.2 server.
I cant seem to find any information on how those Symantec end points are installed to agents. I am starting to discover that a SEP Management server may be necessary but not sure what role it plays, My question to the group.
- Is a SEP Manager necessary per client site or one global that is accessible from the Internet?
- What configuration is necessary on the SEP Manager to integrate with Kaseya?
- Is there a document out there that lists what is necessary to make this work?
