We are having an extremely annoying issue with the exclusions in Kaspersky, The application all of the sudden started to scan and quarantine the login scripts of most of our clients and quarantined the files. How fun is that!!! Further, it decided to also quarantine known applications like: Quickbooks, Dell printer drivers, Fujitsu scanning utilities, etc. etc.
We contacted support and to put it politely (i've wasted over 4 hours on this and no resolution). I was told to exclude all the applications that are being detected; THIS DOES NOT MAKE SENSE. Any respectable AV should know what is and what is not a threat. Period.
Has anyone seen this problem, should we give up on KAV and cut our losses? Kaseya support has been horrible helping us with this and I honestly don't feel there is a resolution in sight....
