Most of my Win2008 and Win2012 servers are not connected to the Internet. I would run the Patch Scan and Kaseya Server (which is connected to Internet)would find the updates and install them on those machines etc. Of late, I've noticed that the Patch Scan shows that most of the updates are Internet-Based Install Only. That means I need to have my servers connected to the Internet to download them or manually run/push them one by one, or create a script etc. Doing that every month is becoming a pain since of late, almost all of the Win2012 patches are showing up as Internet Based Install only. For July, I'm getting almost 10 Internet based Install only after my Patch Scan.
I understand that Kaseya uses the Microsoft's wusscan.cab and if those updates aren't available in those, it shows up as Internet-based Installs, however what are others doing about this? How do you go about this? Am I doing something wrong or am I missing something while running the Scans etc.
