Is there a way to use SSH keys?

Hi There,

I just thought I would ask.  Is there a way to use SSH keys for authentication of LInux hosts?  We have a lot of Amazon AWS hosts and they primarily use SSH keys for authentication.  I have to jump a few hoops to get user password authentication working.
